I got a dream yesterday. I went to a spa and after enjoyed the spa, I found I couldn’t find my wallet. I was so scared and was wondering did I lost it somewhere else. Where was my wallet, I remembered that I brought together with me. I started to fret because I was in the foreign land and I lost my wallet! When I reached my room, I looked over and found my wallet inside a white hand beg. I woke up and it came as a revelation to me. It was God how paid the bill in the spa for me. It was God who brought back my wallet. I had fretted for nothing.

I woke up and found myself wondering what are the things in life that I still held on to. Yes, there is some thing. I guess I got to totally leave it to God. His peace will guide me through.

1. Matta Fair  “cheap and big” doesn’t mean good quality assurance

The itinerary was changed to 2 days night and 2 nights pattaya, instead of 3 nights bangkok and 1 nights pattaya as agreed in penang. We met a dishonest so-called freelance “tour guide” who intended to cheat us. We supposed to have another night in pattaya but my sister and I wanted to go back to bangkok. So, we asked Boby (not real name) -the tour guide to arrange for us. He came to us in a short while to tell us that we have to pay RM130 each person for a night in Bangkok City Inn. He didn’t know that we had surveyed the rate before we visited bangkok. It was only RM99 if we book from internet.  When we confronted him, he told us that his company wanted to charge that way..  What a big liar! We called the boss directly and we got the night free instead.

2. Bad tour guide spoilt your day

It happened that in our small group, there was a demanding European from Malaysia. She spotted his cunning side from the beginning and had been complaining to him from day one. Bob was frustrated and kept insult her indirectly. This tour guide supposed to embrace whatever his customers thrown to him and not holding any grudges but he was presenting retaliation in front the rest of us. Instead of concentrating in giving guide, he kept complaining about his problem facing with the demanding tourists since last time till now. We all felt the uneasiness. After all, it was his personal problem.  We are here to enjoy the beauty of Bangkok, not hearing his complain!!

So,

Go free and easy, and when you reach there, there is information center set up by the goverment and they offered many good quality tour advice and service!! I had seen a good tour guide giving ample information about the historical places to a group of tourists with fluent English. Choose the places you want to visit only. You might pay slightly more but you got a happy trip.

3. Closed your ears to the friendly local chap

There would be many local who would approach you and friendly to you, offering direction and wishing you good luck. Actually they are cunning wolf in disguise. They led you to other places that selling things instead of giving you the right direction to your destination. My sister and I took water public transport to Chang pier and we walked to Grand Palace. Half way, there came a friendly chap and gave us to the wrong direction of Grand Palace. Initially we believed him. Then I felt something wrong, as I stopped half way and looked across to the wall of Grand palace and down to the end, there was no entrance seen, only side door with soldier. And there was a sign board pointing entrance at the opposite way.  As sis and I planned to go across, there came another chap and told us that Grand Palace is closed! Liar again! It was always open since early in the morning as was told by the information center by the goverment . So, closed your ear to any local chap.

There are two group of people you can trust for enquiry  -

1.the information center/counter/booth by the government (not private ya, mind you)

2. Uniform university students (they wear white T and dark blue pleated skirt)

My last words,

There is about 10 million people in Bangkok. Many are very rich.  Many have become successful. Many of them are from the north part of Thailand, who are poor and uneducated and wish to earn a decent living by doing business. Many are still trying to make end meets. They are setting small business along road side and their target is tourist. They form a group of people who lead the innocent tourists to their market. But I believe there are many hands reaching out to them too. I guess it is a matter of choice.

Bangkok, a vibrant city indeed.

My Surname is Wang. And I had been visited my ancestor’s place before in China Hokkien Xiamen many years ago. It is village of Wang’s family and there is a temple of 3 great men that the wangs’ were actually worshiping. There were known to be the “3 dragon of the Wang’s Family” – 王潮、王审邽、王审知.. from 881 year.. So, I was curious WANG ’s origin.. Wang is the one of the oldest surname and it is very wide and got a lot of “branch” My grandpa is – “Dai Yuan” – Below is what I found…

The Surname Wang (Dai Yuan), the root originated from a great King in China… The Wang’s first generation is the the 42 descendants of Huang Di..

The ancestors’ surname is actually 姬 ji.. the surname was changed to Wang at the next generation of “Zhou Ling Dai Zi” is because of some political uproar… Last time, it is known to have some chaos when a king is passed away as the people within tried to enthrone.. The son of “Zhou Ling Da Zi” lost and had to leave the palace and moved to other place and changed the surname to WANG. Other said that the change of surname is because they want to honor “Zhou Ling Da Zi”…

I came across David Tao’s version of 忘不了 {wang bu liao} which means unforgetable. It seems too R&B and spoilt the uniqueness of this song. I don’t know how to appreciate it. I prefer the sentimental and slow style. As I googled for other version, I came across this sing with the same title and it was 忘不了 by 费星, not the one I look for.

Then I found the originality through the movie Bu Liao Qing 1961.

Apparently the title of the song is not忘不了 it is 不了情. It is sung in the movie不了情 bu liao qing.

The Sunday morning started with unpleasant monthly menstruation cramp. I took pain killer and canceled all the outing. I would rather stay at home with this inconvenience then engaging in activities that I couldn’t even enjoy.

I vividly remembered how I struggled to put up with it when I was in an important function. There were no pain killer and I was too timid to run away from the hall as a school student. And I was desperate for the function to end as soon as possible so that I could go back and lay down on my bed.

So, when this monthly cycle comes, when the attack comes, I would either retreat in my own sanctuary; or , If unavoidable I would resort for a pain killer!

Ah Chu yee came to bring coffee for my mum this morning and she asked my mum was it that the aunty lived next door had”something wrong in her mind”. Apparently, my neighbor had complaint to her that somebody purposely put some wild lethal mushroom in her plants, somebody came to scratch her new honda car with metal.. Chu yee suspected that she was crazy. I was sitting not far and I told Chu Yee that this aunty indeed did complain to me and my mum. I guessed she told everyone. I just ignored.

This is very common – it is called paraniod. It is one of the commonest psychosis that I noticed in most of the human. We, a normal well-being, had some degree of psychosis. There was a person reacted negatively when I mentioned that particular someone suffered from psychosis. It seemed that not many would accept that a normal human being had some degree of psychosis.The severity of it depends on the environment, the state of our health physically and mentally, and our relationships.  It was a bit overboard for my neighbor for she had been habored with the thought of people want to make her life miserable.

Nobody want to make your life miserable. You are the one who responsibly for your own life. Being paranoid and keep suspecting will only exhaust you and distraught you from your goals and dreams. You need to realize that or else your life will be in constant fear and worry.

I thank God for Jesus. With Him, I have great confidence in Him. His Holy spirit dwells in me.. He keeps my eyes forward and to His great plan.
