I came across David Tao’s version of 忘不了 {wang bu liao} which means unforgetable. It seems too R&B and spoilt the uniqueness of this song. I don’t know how to appreciate it. I prefer the sentimental and slow style. As I googled for other version, I came across this sing with the same title and it was 忘不了 by 费星, not the one I look for.

Then I found this so called the earliest version by sang Chai Qing.. still couldn’t find the composer..

Then I found the originality through the movie Bu Liao Qing 1961.
Apparently the title of the song is not忘不了 it is 不了情. It is sung in the movie不了情 bu liao qing.
In the movie, it is ling dai who acted singing but the original singer is gu mei. Click here to listen.
