Ok, it is true. I guessed I didn’t update myself with the latest service available in Malaysia nowadays. There is indeed “Tune” Hotel which doesn’t come with air-cond facility. You gotta pay additional for it and it costs about RM1 for an hour. But I guess it is fair enough since the room only costs Rn9.99 per night. Don’t worry they have water heater supply included.
Tune Hotel
The concept is just like AirAsia.. The price goes up according to the demand. You got to book earlier in order to get this cheap price. The budget hotel does come with a standard of service that could compare with 4 stars hotel. I am impressed that they have tight security – 2 guards at the entrance and CCTV all over the place. There is also a proper fire management for its clients. In term of other service, they have, internet facility, 7-eleven, Subway and the local franchised cafe. Clean room, comfortable bed, proper toilet, working air-cond. Just the parking is expensive. Overall, a thumb-up for Tune Hotel.
Neway Karaoke
Jenny and the rest came to pick me up in Puduraya around the afternoon. We went straight to Time square to Neway Karaoke. It was RM 14 per person from 1300-1900 hr for Mon-thurs but you got to buy its tibit.. nuts and snacks. 5 person for 3 bowl of that thing.. When we were happily going ahead with our plan, never came across in our mind was that the tibit could be so ridiculous expensive! Each is RM27! We were paying 20 fold more!
However, the room setting was better than redbox. We did enjoy the singing by the way!@
At night we went to bukit Bintang, my first glimpse of Pavillion.. Suddenly, I miss KL. I miss the hustle and bustle of the city. The ample choice of everything. The only drawback is high cost of living. I could afford many things in Penang rather than in KL. We stopped by Jalan Alor for supper, we had oyster fried with egg, grilled fish, fried mushroom, fried carrot cake.. then headed to hotel. What a peaceful night of gathering!
Sunway Lagoon
The fee was 5o% discount for myKard holder. Obviously the government is encouraging the locals to go to there. My last visit was when I was 15 year-old, it was RM50 per entrance. And 10 year later, I still paid the same price to go in.
Still we meet again. May this be beautiful memory stayed with us! We have a wonderful God that ensured everything goes well. As we gathered, He is amidst us!
